Update time...

So I finally bit the bullet and invested in a stepped intercooler for he car. Fitted it last night, was quite a b*tch to fit but luckily didn't have to remove the front bumper to do it. Took about 2 hours to do, if I had a helping hand it would've gone quicker.

Quality is tops, welds are good, it fits 100%,. No need to cut anything and it fits plug and play to standard piping. Throttle response has increased and I can feel the car is stronger mid range. Will dyno soon!

If I had a steering wheel like that coupled with the start button & flappy paddles. I would also want to start the car and drive everywhere. :chef:

Great mods.

Update time!

Quite alot happened in the last 2-3 months. First off, I had a Coolboost stage 2 Progressive watermeth kit fitted. Big shout out to Damian and the guys at ATM for doing a excellent job on this. I had a switch fitted so I can switch it on and off.

Secondly I ordered a set of FTP Motorsport charge pipes, as it has a bung for the meth nozzle. The reason for this was i didn't want ti drill into the intercooler to fit the nizzle, and the only other spot was after the air temp sensor, the nozzle should be before the sensor for maximum effect. Anyway fitted the pipes this week and moved the nozzle. Dyno figures will be posted soon. We haven't updat3d the current file yet, not sure if i want to to be honest, but we will see :)

Also had a boost gauge fitted with the meth kit, finally found a pod for the airvent that works on these cars!

Then lastly I upgraded my front brakes. Opted for the EBC GD Performance discs and the EBC Yellow stuff pads. Still in the drive in phase so cant comment on them yet, but so far the feel good and aren't noisy.

Thanks Sash  Yes, I will do a proper review once I have dyno'd the car etc.

For now all I can say is, the Meth helps a lot. we logged the car and tested the 80-120km/h times with the meth on and off. With the meth off 80-120km/h was 4.4 seconds. With the meth on 80-120km/h was 3.5 seconds. Yes both were on the exact same piece of road and both runs in the same gear and from 70km/h. :cartel:
