Shot dude :) Its pretty much permanent haha so wont be able to remove it... Something I contemplated on doing since I got the car but wasn't sure... Finally decided to do it and it makes a huge difference... Unfortunately its not something you can really see on a picture but in real you can

Ah ok I see. Dang, I really like it! Did you paint it with a brush while still on, or did you remove the wheel to do it?
Well I took the chance and did it with the wheels on seeing that my rims spokes are so far apart, so it is possible, but it will definitely be alot easier to do it with the wheels off....

Havent updated this thread in a while. Couple of things happened on on the car since the last update:

First up, removed the exhaust back box, so at the moment the car has no boxes in, only the dpf/cat. Also fitted a bigger tailpiece at the same time. Car is not loud, but there is a very good sound coming out, for a diesel :D

Also did ATM stage 1 file on the car. Car made a healthy 165kw and 457nm one week after the tune. This transformed the car completely, that torque makes it an absolute joy to drive :D Also one of the smoothest graphs I've seen on a dyno sheet.

Then yesterday I fitted a Eibach Pro-Kit, and wow, I love the new look. Car handles like a go cart too. The ride quality is quite impressive, its a little bit harder, but it's difficult to tell the diffirence between stock and the Eibach, because it drives really close to stock.

that's such a nice smooth graph:coolShake:

Its amazing what a difference a map makes to these 2.0D's in terms of drivability

Looking good to :=):

Sweet. Would love to hear and audio clip of the exhaust. Did you also do a before dyno? The power delivery looks super smooth.

Whats the difference in the 8spd auto and the 8spd sport auto? How does one tell the difference?

I will try and make one soon, maybe try with the go pro :)

I am not sure actually, I think if the car has the sport option it has the 8 speed sport. If it shifts quickly, and gives a "kick" with every shift when putting it in manual and sport it should have the 8 speed sport I guess.

Looks mooi dude.
I just followed your lead and ordered some red caliper paint for myself. I think I'll have to remove my wheels to clean the calipers and apply the paint - not as much room between my spokes as you!

Thanks man :)

That's great :clapper: It's definitely better to remove the wheels and do it properly. That way you know it's cleaned properly and you wont miss pieces on the calipers and have to touch up in the future :crazylaugh:
