So.... Gizmo....

Can you be talked out of this one too?

After 14years of ownership I think you would have better success talking me out of my alpine touring than my e36.

I only had the silver touring for 3 months and hadn't grown attached to her yet, that's probably why Gareth had success in his persistence.

So there is hope for me, after all

I've owned the touring for 6years already, built it into the perfect daily and is irreplaceable, why would I ever want to sell it?

Im like this when it comes to my cars:

Thank you all for the compliments.
After this weekend I will do the S50B32 headers and oil filter housing with oil cooler and also install the M50 intake manifold. Should free up a few more ponies in the upper rev range.

Looks much better with the 32's

I agree. 32's are the best.

Also: I'm not biased at ALL!
32's are a timeless classic, probably why I have owned so many sets over the years. I have been considering selling them and changing to white 17x8J ET47 Style 50 rims from the E46 catalog for track wheels as they are rare worldwide and have a sort of 911 GT3 look to them. I own one brand new one so far, would need to order another 3 to build a set. I would run my 12mm H&R spacers with these.

Just a couple more shots.
Just can't get enough of this sexy front end.

Firm believer in the "Built, not bought" philosophy.

Oh yeah, this is the style 50 rim I was talking about.

Are you planning to do a dyno run before the list of mods? Would be interesting to see what kind of gains the M50 manifold and M3 headers achieve...

The only time my cars go on dynos is for tuning. For the rest of the time my trusty butt dyno works well.:chef:

Car is prepared and packed for tomorrow's midvaal track day.

Sitting low with weight.

I pop riveted some magnets from hard drives to the fanatics plate I got from firi, now easy on and off.

Another awesome track day under my belt. Attended the BMW Car Club Gauteng track day at Midvaal today. Very small turn out maybe 30 or so cars so nice open track to give her beans!

Just before sunrise, was literally 3 degrees!

After sun up, stickered up. AudiDriver in pit 20.

Back home safe.

Two semis suffered delamination. They were on their last legs anyway.

Always like the biscuit brown colour burnt exhaust after a track day.
