Hi Guys,
A bit of an overdue post... As some may know I had been looking at "big" engine F30s for a while (B58 or N57 and maaaaybe M3), however I could never justify the premium that all car dealers and even private sellers were asking for fairly normal cars.
Eventually managed to come across the new daily at BMW SMG Durban, the end price was reasonably acceptable given the market values and most importantly the car had a good history and decent mileage (a seemingly difficult balance to find with a 330d). One previous owner who purchased from and traded the car in at the same dealership. I bought it at 77000kms in June. I will spare the forum from the usual 3 pages of options and just say that it's typical 330d F30 spec. Melbourne Red Metallic would not be my first choice in colour but in a well maintained state it's certainly grown on me (Yes I realize the irony here).
Collection day:

Some randoms:

I enjoyed the clean stock look for a while, then decided to start with some light cosmetic mods, contacted @FiRi@Rennzport about a CS style rear spoiler and black 330d rear badge, fitment and quality were perfect as usual.

Wanted a slightly different look up front, still quite undecided on the final outcome but I managed to find a set of splitters basically free which will do nicely for now.
