MPG gauge problem when shifting from first to N

its been doing this for three days
MPG gauge goes up and stays up when am on N
look at he rpm dropping down to idle but mpg gauge is Hallucinatng

sorry my bad no infos.. even very first post
the MPG gauge is messing with my head
when i slow down to the traffic light stop i put it on N (( its manual )) the MPG drops then goes up to around 15 then drops again in seconds.. its wierd. no gas pushed!

my car does the same... i coast down my driveway and use the brakes to warm them up a little in the mornings and the meter jumps up like that and goes back down... never really thought it was a problem...

If you're standing still, but idling, I don't think the gauge is suppose to fall to zero. It will go down if the car is in neutral and moving. The faster the car moves, while in neutral, the more the gauge will drop. At least that's how it works on both my old 318 and 540. :dunno:

is that not when you have it in gear and the wheels are turning the engine? when i go down the driveway i put the clutch in... at idle my gauge falls to 0 i think will take more note of it but im pretty sure it does...

have never noticed the gauge jumping when sitting at a robot only when moving...

Means ECM/TCM is not functioning.

Car is in Limp Mode.

ok first of all am not american so forgive my lang>
car been hit up front and am trying to fix as much is possible
outside temp sensor is broken
tire pressure light is on cuz the wheels are 20' (as someone said that was causes the light to be on)
airbag light is on cuz fuse is off even tho all airbags are installed and fine am just scared to put the fuse in

america and democracy? i came here to look for help with my car not fight about politics shit so dont waste ur time

limp mode? please explain and what icon you talking about.

oh i see what you mean wheel of death. no the thing is car was auto but someone changed the trans to manual but i guess there some kind of plug or sensor that isnt pluged and and it show this gear with excalm mark inside.. any idea?
