Hi guys,
Just wanted to get your thoughts on the MPerfromance Exhaust + Catless Downpipe on a M135i?

Is it too loud for daily driving?
Is there drone whilst driving?
How easy is it to live with on a daily basis?

I have smelt the fumes off a VW GTI with downpipe and its not pleasant, almost smells like its over fueling, is this normal to have when just fitting a catless downpipe?

Also in terms of gains with no software, what is normal to be expecting?

The backfire on the gear change is very loud.
I liked the sound and can live with it as a daily.
The general tone is not much louder than just the M performance Exhaust, its when you have a spirited drive it sounds loud.
Not sure what the gains are.

With a downpipe fumes is not pleasent at all but you can only smell it if your sitting at a robot and your window is down, or if you behind the person who has a downpipe

Car just feels so much better with the DP. Feels like a different car. really so impressed. the sound is great and if you're not heavy with the right foot-Eco pro mode- the exhaust noise is minimal.

the car is pure driving pleasure on these cold winter nights :chef:

Thanks Reid,
Just worried it'll be too loud with the M performance exhaust and DP.
Have the M Performance exhaust for sound, now looking at DP for better performance.
Coupling them together im not sure if its not too loud?

Hows the sound inside the cabin?
Do you get the fume smell as well?

Only with the window open, had one on my M3 and only times I didn't like it was when reversing into the garage with the interior door to the house open or when idling with windows open, will be similar on the M135

So my M performance and DP combo all fitted.
Did the MPE some time ago and DP a week ago...

Sounds amazing, now to put it on the dyno.
It does feel a bit quicker but not sure if its my mind playing with me.

Not planning on SW just yet so hoping ill be able to run with the A45's and the 7R's easily with just the DP addition.

And update on the fumes, you do smell the fumes but only if you in the garage with the car idling or standing behind it outside.
Not too bad though and easy to live with.

Overall, im pretty satisfied with the combo...as I said now I just need to gauge it against something quick and see how it goes. Response feels a bit better, but the dyno will confirm once I put it up again on the rollers
