Motorsport kit?

Hi guys. Anyone know where I can find a genuine motorsport kit for my 318is? Ive been searching really hard but cant find one, not even 2nd hand. Didnt went to the dealers though, they probally going to ask both arms and both legs for it right?:dunno:

other than from second hand from a scrapyard and the dealers I'm not sure whether there is anywhere else that you might find this, might be worthwhile to have a look on junkmail, gumtree or ebay.

You are going to need at least an extra 5kw to overcome the drag caused by the motorsport kit...

But if you are only after the looks, that is fine.

How does the aftermarket kit fit? Does it line up correctly compared to the genuine kit etc? I saw a few with aftermarket kits on in the past and they looked horrible..huge gaps between the bumpers and body :mmm: I just want the car to look a lil bit different than the rest, or do u guys think Im going to spoil it? I will fit the motorsport wheels to make the match :dunno:

Just fitted the mpack kit on my E90 last weekend and i had to learn some things the hard way. Stay away from scrapYards cause they will rip you off....kinda like our government. needed to to buy 2 new rear bumper guides as the old ones dont work. Bobs scrapyard in JHB wanted R450 each for the stuff and even after i told them that BMW is cheaper they told me im lying. Well i made a point of it to call BMW just there infront of them and they quoted me R420 each and would still give me 20% discount on that. Brand new and not 2nd hand Sh!t.

I have gotten the best service from Bemow spares, they are in pretoria so its a bit of a drive for you, but their prices are usually very fair.
The thing with scrapyards is you got to go to a couple, and go to the dealers first just to give an idea what things cost there.

Go for after market. Fitted a front bumper from Maxmotorsport on my 328i. Costed R 1500 and supertech charged R1500 to paint. the guy from Supertech even asked if it was an oem bumper

Howsit, Not sure if this could help, I have the motorsport bootspoiler, and the original black lip that fits below the front bumper. I also have like 5 angel eye lights, 1 set is the thick ring type (right hand side lense damaged at corner, went into a fence), another set LED angel eye type(lenses need cleaning up) and 1 LED type right hand side (could use the lense from it). If any1 is interested?

Hi, Its the thin lip that fits below the msport bumper, its the straight lip, not the side splitters.

The 1 corner is broken off, after being driven into a fence, small fix required. Make an offer, I think agents are like 1500 for the lip, I paid 500 for the fibre glass 1 from racers edge, i no more driving E36, soo any reasonable offer is welcome
