I just paid to get it done at the dealers...was about R615 so more expensive but since the wear was pretty even since the last time they did it, decided to stick with them.
Strange part is the rear camber is quite different from the previous setting and both are different from the target data ... will query this with them tomorrow.

Hi every one,
That it is correct, motor plan doesn't cover wheel alignment. However, if it is found that there are components worn e.g., a ball joint etc. which can have an impact on the wheel alignment then motor plan should cover the wheel alignment in conjunction to the repair done.
I just want to point out that in a great deal of cases that I have found that tire pressures were not correct or rims damaged which is impact which is accident damage and naturally not covered by motor plan any way. I have done my own tests in our area by comparing the pressures form the different garages around us and it is frightening how in some cases there is a big difference in what their gauges read in relation to ours. We have ours checked from time to time but the garages generally buy it and install it and then never have them checked. Other point is also to check your tyre pressures when cold is actually the correct why of doing it.
If one thinks about it, wheel alignment won't actually change unless the geometry of the suspension has changed which would be due to wear or damage.
The challenge I have with this is that when I bought the car the motorplan covered alignment....it leave a bit of a bad taste to have this benefit cancelled.
I can understand if they implement this on new vehicles sold but I paid for a vehicle with a motorplan that previously covered alignment... what could they remove next, sorry we don 't cover attending to rattles :RedNo:
