Motorplan issues

I bought my ///M with jammers on and BMW had no problem transferring the motorplan...not sure thou who the installer was for the previous owner.

I was pulled over by the cops in a roadblock for having the jammers...not a nice experience, after that I was paranoid about every cop I saw on the road to the extent I wanted to remove to jammers eventually I blocked the jammers and disconnected the control unit.

Or stay within the speed limit...
Ya you did not expect that kind of reply from me. :)

Try a Garmin that warns you of fixed and some mobile traffic spots but i think you need to take a monthly subscription or something.

Not really you will just need to download the new maps that are available.

Feedback: BMW will have no problem if I use power from the sigarette lighter or direct from the battery. In fact they were friendly and professional about this.
Like i said before. You get laser jammers and you get laser jammers. The type I import cannot be detected and do swich off after a few seconds. If gives you enough time to slow down. Make no mistake it does not give you freedom to speed, it is only to stop the small fines when going over the speed limit "by accident". On my BMW 1200GS it was a differnt story. I would ride as hard as I can and often the jammers went off, specially close to the tunnel in the 90 zone...I had the pleasure of flying past them at well over 200....the jammers was still jamming inside the tunnel before reset.
My point of view: The day they start enforcing road safety and not just easy money making, will be the day I will stop doing jammers. Road safety like in people talking on cellphones, not indicating, crossing solid lines, unroadworthy cars, and yes speeding too.
