It can affect the mplan if your dealer reports it.. Unless you fit an approved rear exhaust.

I don't want a back box i just want straight pipes where the back boxes should be and I'm leaving in all cats and resonators. i unclipped the back boxes and it made my car super loud like a f1 noise and i think maybe its a bit faster cause i just had a nice run with a 335i and the race! built audi a3 i sat with the a3 and the a3 beat the 335.

Just dont break the car, and then it has to be towed in to bmw, because if it gets there and there are part there, or not there, that isn't suppose to be there, or not be there, then they will use that as an excuse not to make payment under motorplan for repairs.
Lately bmw will use ANY excuse, and find faults just not to have to settle a claim under motorplan, the no.1 excuse being Owners neglect, so be careful.

Why would you tow YOUR car to the bmw dealership if it was in an accident? That makes no sense Cois. I know you anti modding but how do you arrive at that?

Sure, but your point is the same...is it not?

:pimp:
Not at all... :nonono:
When my car was under motorplan, I was coming from Lichtenburg, and just past Rustenburg, my alternator gave out. :argh:
BMW sent a loadbed, to take my car directly to a dealership for repair, and brought me a courtessy car on the scene.
So the problem is, that if RZ4M decides to do this to his car, and something mechanical breaks, then most likely motorplan will want the car taken to a dealership/workshop directly, thus making it impossible for him to re-fit the exhaust. :dunno:

CLEAR!!!???!!!

Okay. I see your point.

But there are thousands of flatbeds out there...bmw would not be my first port of call...especially if the vehicle is modded & under MP...but it also depends on the mods. For small & simple mods it does not matter if bmw towed the car. But for the serious enthusiast mods it would be better to find an alternative repairer.
