Hey guys

Can you please elaborate on what the exhaust entails and does it include dp's and is it covered by the Bmw group? Price?

Not with the whole Co2 emission tax laws etc.. Also doing exhaust will need re tuning of the air fuel ratio. If BMW approves it why do we read post like: we've cracked the code on etc etc.. If BMW supported a tuner I'm sure they would just give them the codes LOL.. Maybe a chrome tail piece set but that can also cause questions at unsupported dealers.

It says motorplan approved exhausts, not downpipes. I have the ad here I can post it if you want.

Yo I just asked if the dp's were included, can you plz give us more info regarding the exhausts as I have someone ready to pull the trigger know and importing an AE exhaust at 15-20k is dumb if we can get it done here, pricing would be a good start and mabe a sound clip?

Its the Akrapovic exhausts. 35k for a rear backbox only and almost 70k for the full system. Thats for the M3. Rather import

Oh now I understand, so its not an exhaust they build, its also an import!!! Damm

BMW do not import the Akrapovic exhaust. It's Akrapovic SA that got BMW Motorplan approval after testing.

BMW Performance division do an exhaust for the V8 but just the rear back box is 32k. I have the part number if you are interested.

Speak to Xcede if you want a custom built exhaust, I had one and it was good. But it is not MP approved, however a rear exhaust back box will not affect your Motorplan, i have that in writing from BMW SA *caveats though*
