Motorplan and Wheel alignment

Hi All

Apologies in advance if this has been asked or answered before on the forum. My current car (2014 320i sportline) is the first BMW that I have owned on motorplan. My question is whether wheel alignment is included in the motorplan contract and if it isnt, is there a "BMW preferred/approved by fanatics" wheel alignment shop in the Durban area? Just keen to keep everything in check maintenance wise on the vehicle.

Yup, they include wheel alignment... if you have BMW wheels on that is. I had after market mags on my e46 when it was still under Motorplan, and they refused to do the wheel alignment because of the non-standard wheels.

I was informed every 15000km you are entitled to a free alignment by BMW, but i agree with JP, head over to TWT.

lol that mahala wheel alignment is goona cost you a new set of rears. I always use TWT and rather pay R500 clips for piece of mind 19s are not cheap.

BMW did the X5 the best, ive got no problems with the rears that usualy wear on the inside

you can't compare the bmw alignment to the twts and so forth. It is much more sophisticated.
Given that, most dealers just send the vehicles out to a trusty alignment store, as I believe the full alignment takes about 4 hours on their side, which isn't necessary every time one does alignment.
