Motorplan and Normal tires - Its official!

phoned my dealer...said theyl cover everything except suspension wear wit normals..but brakes n everthing else are fine and covered...thats if they check tho..lol..other alternative is i might jus swap rims wit my fren who has RFT's and give t another dealer if thers a big prob..only got 5 months left on my plan nyways :rollsmile:

Okay, so just to clarify, up until now your car has always had RFT's? Just now after the pothole incident you have non-RFT's? And all four tyres of course?

I am in the same boat, sort of, only have a few months left on my motorplan, so want to get everything checked and given a clean bill of health - don't particularly feel like replacing costly failed parts that only reveal themselves after motorplan has ended.

Maybe best would be to take the car to a suspension place and have them check all suspension components! :thumbs:

yip thats correct, just changed all to normals..my backs needed new tyres anyway, the front...was a lil unexpected..lol wit my experience BMW's always give more shiat after motorplan..a fren told me wat he does is sometimes check shocks at a garage wer he knows the owner...gets them to write him a letter n then goes to bm n fights with them..
In my personal experience it can work at times..at 55000 km's I kept complaining n fiting about my turbo being noisy and booked the car in over and over and after a 5th booking they replaced it..lol...had my suspension and shocks checked and retorqued by them a month ago due to a rattle somewer under the car..but I stil think il take it to an independent garage to check befor the plans totally over n il jus book the car in at a different dealership and pop runflats bak on from a frens car for a day or so.
