Motorite extended warranty

Fer feck's sake, bought my Cooper S on the 18th May as well as 2 year extended warranty for almost R7k.

Had the vehicle serviced last night and today try to fax the receipts to Motorite. None of the fax numbers work. So I phone customer service and they give me another fax number. Also doesn't work.

Phone customer service again and quote policy number and licence plate, only to be told policy not on record. E-mailed Autowhore Angel and requested a refund. Lets see what happens next.

If this is how the warranty starts out, how will it possibly end?:cursin:

Those warranties are seldom worth the paper they are written on. have a family member that works for Motorite, they're always trying to get out of doing stuff.

Great news there, CNBM.
Now I will cause kak with Autowhore until they refund my money. I will put it into a seperate account for any future repairs.

E-mailed the motor insurance ombudsman with a complaint against Motorite and Autohaus. Ombudsman has forwarded the complaint and told Motorite to contact me by wednesday next week.

Most people I know that bought Motorite warranties ending up paying for nothing cos everytime they tried to claim, those crooks found a way not to cough up the money......best to put the money that you would pay for the Motorite aside and use it to do the repairs when needed.

dude put a write up on www.hellopeter.com only prob its a b with an ich to join but once you have its cool also look at you policy at the back you see the complaint proceedure and the ombuds details mmm i to got/ had one of these am looking in to hallard

Motorite is a lot of bullshit, they have so much red tape that always counts in their favour. Hope none of you are insured by Auto and General as they are also people that do not pay. (Dial Direct, Budget, Womens first are just a few that are underwritten by Auto and General, I am sure if you dig a bit further 10 to one that Mororite also is affiliated to Auto and General.

I have friends working for Auto and General, and even they say they will never take insurance from anyone that Auto General is even Associated with.

Ye, I had one of those warranties.. It covers everything when you purches it all the way done to stone chips, but when it comes time to claim for something it doesn't cover JACK S#17 !! damn assholes also made away with my cash. Will never take out ANY extra's when I buy a car again. appart from regular insurance obviously.
