Small update on the car:
A bit of preventative maintenance first: Giubo was replaced, courtesy of Gizmo, with the OEM part:
And then another forum member (Sash) was kind enough to flog his old, rusty wheels - just kidding - a rather decent set of original 6 series 19" wheels.
Driveway is slightly sloped, so the rear is a bit raised in the pics - however, it sits almost flush with the front height when level.
Ride quality is surprising comfortable - slightly harsher than the 17s, but certainly acceptable. I did go with a marginally higher profile tyre size though with the aim of retaining some comfort. The original 17s will remain in storage should I change my mind...
