And true to form, BMW can only deliver the doors on monday....

Which means, the job is held over till next year as my qualified spray painter is going on leave this week, we had a booking that he sprays this car on saturday morning.

This is of course only after we had stripped off the metal on the fender.

I have another painter but he is good for bumpers and small jobs, not a complete left hand side on a E65.

Tell you that you have to be slightly mental for this industry.....

I guess you can send the wheel in for the repair now, and then when I get my car back she will be as good as new???

Indeed,

Wheel will be taken in for repairs on monday, I am only going to get the doors in early next year.

I am not paying out 32k this year only to have the work start in 2 weeks, at least they have them in stock now, so I will will get them to deliver on the 9th when we open up.

Thanks for being so understanding GUET, while I know this is not an issue, I would not have taken the car in if I was not going to start working on the car straight away.
