The delay in boost below 2000rpm is actually wanted to "save" the turbo in city traffic; else it would spool up too many times for no reason

I was wondering... The original figure showed a torque curve that was flat for a bit of the rev range. Would it be possible to ask for a flat curve like that when software is added.

I understand that due to the high torque, this might melt the turbo, but is it possible to dial down the torque to say 150nm over stock and flatten the curve (in this case, say 580 nm torque with a flatter curve than it has at present.) I'm not sure if I'm what I'm thinking is actually being put to written word as I think it...

What would that mean for the car...

Not "meld" the turbo but if you have a car with high milage your bearings and all have a certain play..... hammering these bearings with high boost can / will harm them.

As I explained to you in my PM reply, we could limit boost for your car which results in exactly that flattened curve. :idea:

Would it be possible to somehow decrease the torque/kw figures via bluetooth cellphone. Like have 2/3 settings & if it is raining for example, you pick a lower setting?
I'd be scared to drive something with such an insane amount of torque in the rain. Would this kind of thing improve consumption as well? Sort of like an eco & sport mode. Just a thought, I know nothing about chips/turbos.
