Miss Marple - Promotec 330d

So earlier this afternoon I met up with Mike and Jeanre of the Promotec team, and I was lucky enough to be taken for a drive in one of Promotec's 330d's! Miss Marple, which Rolf has affectionately named her, is Miss Sophie's equally awesome cougar sister, has been given the full once over by the Promotec team, and all I can say is awesome is an understatement!!

This car pulls like a beast but at the same time is super smooth and the torque is absolutely incredible! You can't help but get out with a smile on your face! And that engine note, you sometimes forget you are in a diesel the way it sounds! Congratualtions on a job well done guys, the car is insane!:thumbs:raise::bravo:

Miss Marple is adopted for the Reef..... I actually made changes whilst Mike and Jeanré were driving her up!

Their feedback inspired me to some crutial changes :idea:

Mike then flashed them back to the car parked aside the N1 .... funny but this is what we do :inlove:

Of course, she will be present at our Promotec 330d Kyalami Meet & Greet this upcoming Saturday and I am sure the owner will be keen to show her off.

With the car being destined for the reef there has been changes to the setup as well additional catering to what our customer wanted from the car.

I cannot wait to show her off!

Hi guys!

So we have not been completely up-front about our Miss Marple project, keeping her a secret while we work our magic.

The car itself is an E90 330d and has had the following work completed:

De-DPF
76mm Stainless Steel Exhaust with performance box
Twin Tail Pipes
Promotec Custom Performance Software
Promotec 8 Row Performance Intercooler

In Cape Town she caused a stir producing 210Kw & 690Nm Torque at the Flywheel and as of yesterday she has blown us away producing a whopping 193Kw and 658Nm at the wheels at WRC! :joy:

We are extremely happy with the results; the car is an absolute monster!

As you may notice, we have not got access to a scanner so have taken the photos with my camera to provide you guys with info immediately.

The graphs will be scanned and posted on Tuesday when we return to Cape Town. :thumbs:

Johannesburg, you have now officially been introduced to Miss Marple! :inlove:
