Hello all,
So about 2 weeks ago, my brother-in-law purchased a 2003 Range Rover, fitted with the BMW 4.4l V8.
The car had a light misfire at large throttle openings (normal driving it is fine). He serviced it yesterday, apparently the oil looked toxic, and the spark plugs were completely shot.
His local spares shop has now supplied him with Bosch Super4 plugs (the ones with the 4 electrode tips). He's fitted those, but says the misfire is now much worse - still at large throttle openings.
Some questions:
1) Obviously, any ideas what the problem could be (coil packs maybe)?
2) I suggested to maybe try swap out the plugs, with NGKs or something. Does anyone know a plug code off hand which he can source?
Thanks
