Hi All,
My mom has a '04 Mini Cooper that she bought new in Dec 04.
This car is currently on 34,000KM's and has only ever had one service with the agents.
Me and my dad did an oil change last year december, and the car has done about 6,000Km's since then. It is insane, I have had the E34 for like a month and already done 2,500Km's on it.
Now question, we want to change the oil again, and will be inspecting things like brake pads and discs and the like, chances are that they are still perfect as my mom hardly drives, and the only one that winds the car a bit is perhaps myself when I borrow it.
We want to do another oil change, but what about things like cam chains, not due to KM, but due to age, 5 years on a chain ?
Any views on age driven replacement parts ?
