Mini S Vs E90 (Running costs!!!)

Please advice I am considering both 2006 mini Cooper S:excited78000km) and E90 320i(80000 - 950000 Km)
but have to choose one but my decision is being held by running cost with no maintanace plan:banghead: cant make up my mind help please

950000 on the E90 is a bit much... LOL

Well, between those two choices, just on performance wise I would take the Cooper S as its a great drive. Maintenance wise, the N/A E90 would be a safer bet.

Head: E90
Heart: Cooper S

Screw the maintenance costs and take the Cooper S - it's just soooo much more fun :excited:

How does an E90 not still have motorplan??:thinking:

I would go for the 320i though, more space, more comfortable, way more practical, cheaper services and better long distance car. Oh and remember the 320i's are pretty brisk for a big saloon car:thumb:

The thing with the Mini is because its so compact, there is no space to work on it.

If you want to change a clutch, you will need to strip out most of the front, including the bumpers, coolers ect to get the gearbox out....

Also they really are two differant classes of cars, passanger space is non existant in the mini, if you can deal with that though, the steering on a normal couper never mind the S is some of the best I have ever felt.

Fun and enjoyment, with perhaps a bit more risk, mini ftw

Also, power to weight, the mini is going to perform far better then the E90

But the E90 is actually a more comfortable ride, cheeper on maintance, and will keep its value better (in comparison)....

Now if you were talking about a 330 or a 335, this would of been a totally differant argument.
