Mini R52 upgrades

Hey guys,

Ive got a friend with an R52 supercharged Mini.

Im doing software on the car for him.

He wants a Front mounted intercooler. Now I can do this easy peeezzyy, but The outlet of the supercharger and the throttle pipe are a funny shape. Where can I get an adapter or kit?

He also wants to do a dumpvalve. I have advised him against this because my thinking would be to fit an atmospheric dumpvalve and he will probably lose power.

Thoughts? Ideas? Brain farts?

treat the car a N/A.

I have a cam and injectors for you. That will give a uch higher gain than a FMI which btw has been done and was proved to loose power. Reason is that the path the air now must travel is longer and you loose preassure.

Best mods on the car is pulley, intake, exhaust, then you can start with the other stuff.

And good luck fitting a dump valve????

The car has a bypass valve, keep the stock one or get a detroit tuned one. It makes it possable for the car to bypass the supercharger while running in vacuum and closes once you put foot.
