Mini Cooper S supercharger pulley fitment

Hi All

I am just looking into the 15% reduced pulley for the Mini Cooper S - 2005

Anyone here done the fitment in cape town?

It is very difficult to find someone to fit a pulley, I looked for months.

All the guys I know fitted it themselves.

It is not very difficult, just need the puller. Of you dont have a puller you need a bit of patience with a dremel.

Its a two beer job.

I just did my serpentine belt and everyone went wild saying that you need the special tool to do the job, 15 minutes of research and 30 min practical and bom the job was done, hence why im doing the research to see if the fitment is possible without the tool.

It is definitely doable without the puller.

What you have to do is loosen the engine mounts, jack the engine up as far as it will go while being careful not to damage the wiring.

Then you cut the pulley of with a dremel and pop the new one on.

Not much to it.
