only 1st and 2nd? what if you put it in 3rd and put your foot flat at low rpm?

It feels fine on 3rd gear but still jerks a bit, but mostly on 1st and 2nd gear it feels like it wants to give more power but it doesn't..

And its second hand...

oh boy, my gfs car has the same issue.
pulls fine if your not pushing it.
but if you hammer it it stutters and them gets going. (jerks)

the diagnostics say it has a super knocking error.
mini's first solution is to put an additive in the fuel to get rid of carbon build up.
in our case it didnt work.
the car is currently under warrenty.
mini are saying that if the additive didnt work then they will likely (70% chance) replace the entire engine...

i really hope you dont have the same issue....

need more octane in the fuel to handle the boost under those conditions... you have a roots type charger on that car it can give boost at any RPM problem is we dont have high octane fuel from the pumps in SA so detonation at low rpm and wide throttle openings is to be expected...

try some octane boost 90% it will fix the problem unless there are other problems at work here...

I carry the full NF range if you interested :) it will stop the knock...
