mini cooper s fault codes

[mini cooper s GP]

I just tried that thing to access the MINI's computer...the one where you hold down the trip reset button and then turn the key to the 1 Position. It was...interesting...

When I scrolled through to menu option 14.0-14.4 (On-board diagnostic codes), I got the following display:

14.0 = 1241FF
14.1 = 672800
14.2 = 622800
14.3 = 112100
14.4 = 102100

does anyone no what these codes mean. its a R53 cooper s . they say eg no faults = 000000

please help . this mini is feeling sluggish and losing power and consumption is not great too.

Those aren't faults. Faults normally start with a P#### etc.

hi thanks for the reply. the car is very sluggish from go and was not like this before and even after i did pulley and exhaust. when cold the slutter @ 3000 revs is worst.

can this be the fuel pump?

i did drive the car on reserve a lot many times

It could be your ignition coil/plug leads or even spark plugs too.

spark plugs look fine. the other day i found a bit more than usual oil in the intake manifold, the map sensor was full of oil. also did an ecu reset. nothing helped. but thanks anyway ill have a look @ the coil leads tomorrow.

Btw are you mike that i purchased the detroit tuned bypass valve?
