Mini 2011 R56 zorst Question

Hi Mini Fanatics
Do you think i can take out the R56's middle exhaust box (Resonator)?
Will the car have a deeper sound?
Will it drone?
Or replace resonator with a shorter Freeflow box? just to add a tad more sound?

Spend the cash and get a jcw exhaust like gothglue did, it sounds awesome!
