okay guys,we had a blast last time,30 cars and a really nice bunch of people.

i would like to organise another one but will only be able to do so after the 14th and 15th febuary. will let you know on a date.

this time i would like to get more cars involved and devide into two groups, the newer models and the older models that dont want to go ballistic but would also like to join in on the fun,eg adi 5series etc

also cant we give our "little track/route" a name, like the ring in germany

so if you have any ideas then please share them, thanks guys, again for the last run was awesome

cheers herr:thumbs:

Super keen for another run!:joy: Think the two groups is a good idea, everyone can get a an outline of our route to be familiar with the "Jozi Loop"(just throwing in my idea for a name). We'll skip the stop at the oasis this time though!

Man, I wish this was happening in CPT.. I know of some awesome routes for late at night that just end up feeling like a horror movie... So it may not be the excitement of speed but rather the thrill of fear...

Cool I'm really going to try and make this one.

@Herr BMW Don't you think it might be better discuss the date via PM to members that want to join. I over heard some Golf drivers at a wimpy talking about your last one. And I'm just afraid we start getting to much attention from the popo. And they start putting up surprises for us.

I know it might be to difficult to do but just and idea.

Proper planning can be arranged :D But perhaps keep the route only known to the organiser, and then everyone else will only know once they arrive at the meeting spot, which will also be PM'd or something to all those interested.

+1 After all the vids of the guys hitting 120kph in 2nd :mmm: (albeit speeded up by that awesome camera editing software :mmm:)and hoohah kicked up by the last one (think cois tuning the bacon) I wouldn't want to be advertising the next one too much..

Maybe get a list then PM details, route, date and time to all confirmed..

Call me paranoid :high:

Guys, we can post the date, time and meeting spot, but keep the route private, so that ONLY 2 or 3 people know it.
Maybe 1 guy from Pta, 1 from Midrand, 1 from JHB.
These guys can PM and decide a route.
As for the meeting spot: The Shell is a nice and neutral place to meet. Its public ground, and the cops has no grounds to give us crap, as I posted in Colin's other thread: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=28219

The meeting at a bmw dealership is a nice idea, but the problem is which one??? The Shell is central to all areas, and thats what makes it a good meeting place. We might even meet at Newroad Maxis, just to mix it up.

PS: If its on the 24th of Feb, then I will be there. :thumb:
