We use the cooling mist kit, 60/40 meth mix, car has chip & downpipes. This is the car that ran 12.5 with only chip & DPs.

Which coolingmist setup did you go for and who installed it. I've got the cgms kit now with quick mount tank but had problems the last time I tried installing it. Ill by installing it soon with a single cm10 nozzle. This car up in joburg or durban, would like to see the setup!

Sherwin...Excellent output and dyno confirmation of a modification that has become essential when running high boost levels. Our octane is just not up to it. Your meth/water mix also works best at the coast, without any issues for cooling benefit, safety and octane boost as well as protecting the sensitive flow sensor.

Ps....I found adding a coolingmist solenoid between the checkvalve filter and flow sensor (in that order), keeps the meth flow consistent and strong without pressure drops or flow delays. I am sure this is not new to you, just thought I would throw it in.

Hey Twinz, thanks for the info once gain. Your knowledge & experience is legendary!

On the fire extinguisher question, well if you mix with water I don't think there will be any problem. Running 100% meth might be an issue as our late, great connection Devash experienced.

A 335 recently burnt down after coming in for injector recall & BMW released the car without tightening the injectors properly. So obviously the injector got loose & sprayed fuel at very high pressure into the engine bay.

This car had software a long time back but was stock for the last 9 months. No software, no downpipe, nothing. And it never at any stage had water injection, ever. Bone stock for last 9 months, goes into BMW & they messed it up.

So yeah, shit happens, take care of your rides.

Hey thanx again Singh, must say the w/meth really does make diff. Power delivery is effortless all the time now.Had the opportunity of testing against a c55 on the top this past Sunday, lets just say the 135 is a awesome performer even on the top. Top stuff Xcede!

whatever!!!
take away the 26% ambient correction and the u'll see the gain will be less aswell if u lucky 5kw,only becoz u can boost more and advance the timing with water/meth injection,put water/meth on ur car without tuning and put it on the dyno,u will loose kw's!!!its more about reliabiltiy than anything else

George, my thoughts exactly. It was one of those moments where I had to shake my head a few times and ask now how did the guy arrived at that conclusion. I know sniffing the stuff can make you lose a couple of grey cells and keep you warm during the winter months...but now really...:)
