u will have to buy the gloss then remove the surrounds, and remove your oem chrome surrounds.. Then basically swap.
It all just clips in.
I have a set of carbon fiber and chrome grill.
Will do the swap and post a pic.
But gimme a day.

Heres an idea,

Go to a junkyard, scrap place and buy a set (kidneys) for your car, they just pull right out.

Then go to builders/ hardware shop, buy 1000 grit sandpaper, gloss black spraypaint and some clear. the cans are R25 each. you just need one can each.

You can do a quick job in the evenings sanding down and spraying, let them dry in the day. about 3 coats should do it.

Then clear coat it,about 2 coats will do it, let dry, then apply!

it will be cheap, looks good, and if you dont like it, no harm done. no bucks spent apart from the sandpaper, cans of paint and the grilles from the scrapyard.

:mmm: No man, hit a DIY, and then after that, you will be the prof oke that did it.

trust me, its easy. it was the first mod i did on my old e90, i was skrik i would screw up, but as long as you hold the can 30cm away, let it dry properly between coats, and clear coat it, you are a four away,

the only way you can screw it up, is if you are blind ekse.

"chants" do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, :mmm:

its not more than 1200 from dealer
and the slats are matt black, so u'll have to swap them out if you want that chrome look

I actually like the chrome on my E90, but I must admit, I saw the new 1 series kidney grills the other day on a black 120i Cabrio and it looked very nice! The outside was chromed but the slats weren't - I think they were matt black. Really looked nicer when comparing to mine...

revo if thats the case, then i'll just buy it. then i can always change them around when i get bored. I was looking at my chrome surroundings yesterday and i actualy hate it, it looks cheap( just my opinion), thank goodness i got shadowline trim around the windows.
