The red 635 with the modern rims is Ferndando Biko, he was there with the white 850 too. As far as I know it is NOT a genuine M6.

I can find out for you. I know of only a handful M6 in SA. Main differences is the M88, wider flared arches, all are in Manual, front and rear spoilers, and some Alpina bits if I am not mistaken. Seats are not an issue as you could spec with executive seats instead of Sport seats.

For those who want their judged sheets you can contact Colin, he can scan and send to you. I think he email appears on the invitation and posted on the thread about the day.

Curiosity is killing me! Please ask.

Alpina bits were not std. Lowered suspension was. Flared arches became common on normal 6ers too. You are right about the seats, Sport seats were a no-cost option so very few had Comfort seats.

He did well, came second in the "Show n Shine" class.

So Congrats bud!!

I aggree with Phumi, there are some CLLLLEEEAANN beemers out there!
Holy crap! But on the flipside of that, there were also some cars there that shouldnt have been there in my opinion...

But everyone is entitled to there opinion i guess:rollsmile:

Overall, i thought it was a fantastic event. One that i will definitely be entering next time

Will post some of my pics i took today sometime.

When they called my name for 2nd I wasn't expecting it, didn't know what to do haha.

But I'm really happy being my first time out, what an experience.

Luis your 530MLE is absolutely gorgeous, amazing restoration.

Mo's Lazur Blue 325iS should have won best e30 though, that thing is like new.

Hey bud, Mike Salt is a good friend of mine, and I know that he does most of the work on his cars by himself with his brother doing the same as well, I was at his place on the Friday before the event and he was busy cleaning in all the nooks and crannys with a toothbrush! Not sure bout the other guys but just wanted to let it be known that he puts in a lot of hard graft for the concourse!!:thumbs:
