Mag Wheel Repairs...Pics Added

Hi Guys

Looking for a good Mag Wheel repair center North of JHB. I hit a pothole about 2 weeks back and it damaged my right front rim. Did the alignment and everything was back to normal, no vibrations, not pulling to any side so i guess the rim is still ok, does not require any straightening etc...How much will it cost to get this repaired? Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance!

That you can do yourself. If no straightening is needed, you are in the clear.

There is a load of mag repair tutorials on the web. It basically is just sanding down, maybe some filler, undercoat, colour coat and clear. (And Bobbin is you mother's uncle that always used to dress kinda feminine and gave you lollipops when you were a kid...)

just an idea if your gonna refurb, polish the lip as it looks good on the rim and car. I have the same rims on my E46 Individual and had them done some ago. I'll take some pics this wkend and post to give you an idea what they look like.

Sorry for the delay in posting these pics. I know the M badge is not on the rim...just been lazy to put it back on since the refurb... will get it done soon.

Who did the work and how much was it?

Was done by Just Mags in Durban and I paid R750.00 for all 4 rims....about 18 months ago. I dont have the tel number offhand but can source it for you if you need it.

It's fine - don't need the number. Just wanted to know what the going rate is, as I may need to do my mags one of these days too - but not in a rush.

Looks nice Prevan...thanks for posting...will keep this in mind when i send my rims in for repairs but for now, its not necessary...using the spare wheel mag rim and the damaged one is in the boot...so all is good for now.
