i have the same maf as:
323, 325, 328, 520, 523, 525, 528, 728 so im thinking it should be quite common...

If the Bosch part is the same thing as the Siemens, then you could use either. Just don't go generic. I do however have some doubt as to if there is a compatible Bosch part. I know the 530d came with a Siemens and later switched to Bosch, but the change required the ECU software to be changed as well...
have you sourced a Siemens part? i would like to go as direct as i can :rollsmile:
