Why does everybody hate the E60 so much, I love it, maybe I am just odd...

Acording to the Car guys, the e60 M5 was GREAT at the limit, but rubbish anywhere else. They had issues with the gearbox, the way the engine was tuned, and of course, the unjustified tech.

There was an article posted here somewhere about how revolutionary the e39 was. In the same article they mention how in order to repeat that huge leap with the e60, BMW used a lot of unproven / undeveloped technology.

Please note that I am paraphrasing various articles here. I have ZERO experience with either car, and do not intend to come of as a hater.

If however, someone would be willing to donate 1 of each to me for a weekend, I am sure I could come back with an unbiased review. Any takers?

Regardless though, maybe I am just odd, but I love the E60 shape, as well as the E39 shape, lets just say an E60 is on the cards for me as well..

The E60 has this Batmobile look and I'm put off by the slab dash I prefer user centric shapes.
