M62 Bearings

Greetings all.
Anybody out there know where I can get over-size bearings for an E39 540 M62 motor? Require Main +010 & Big Ends +020. Agents are ridiculous at over 14 grand for the lot. :biglol: :roflol: I can't find anything in PE. :blueCry:

Any and all suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

Maybe give Alert engine parts a call.


Also try a different dealer as this one might just be trying to take you for a ride, also got a quote for m62 bearing a while back, can't remember the exact price but it wasn't that high

Thanks. Tried Alert. Only standard size. Tried AutoZone. Tried GoldWagen. I need to hear from somebody who has already bought this, and knows where to get them for certain. :sorry:

Can't really help you in that regard, I have plans to rebuild an M62 so just got some prices from the dealers to get an idea of what I was looking to spend.
(Plan was to buy from the dealer in anyway)

Import a set from ECS tuning/VAC/TURNER

Local sourced bearings if made in SA are rubbish for this specific application.

Contacted Masterparts - they can do Mains at +010 for R940 ex vat, but cannot do Big Ends at +020 - say I could wait up to 6 months before they get them manufactured.
