M6 vs GTR

Stock versus stock that is definitely the case. I've seen a standard F10 M5 whip a standard GTR over 400m at Tarlton, and even over 1km as well. The launch control in the F10 M5/F13 M6 is just awesome. Keep in mind that the ///M cars have more power and torque.

Mmmm...I own both m5 and gtr, NO way m5 rolling or on acceleration will run next to the Nissan. The gtr pulls away , slowly, but still nutches ahead. From 230 - 270 the m5 is where the m5 struggles.

M6 I believe, but, every Nissan is different, owned 2 and performance differs
slightly between cars. I.e. different cars, same dyno, and 11kw difference

This is not the first gtr that his took on and made a video off!

Thought all you guys are BMWfanatics lol!GTR is a GTR no 1 can change that but a rear wheel drive BMW that stays along GTR or even kills a GTR is something else.

Skyline have beaten bigger monsters than we all could thought off...
So give the M6 a chance it's still quiet new in the race scene...

Hi, yes it is me in the video.

I was banned because I posted the link to youtube for all fanatics to see (not to my own website, I dont even have one).

I did tell members to go and like the facebook page to get news on racing days and breakfast runs etc. The admin then told me not to do it and we had an argument as to why not since I did not see his point of view. So I got banned for disagreeing with the admin.. I did not repost anything or spam anything like he said i did. I only pasted the link to the video and to the facebook page.

He then banned my account..

Anyway, I raced the 2012 GTR fair and square, we decided not to go from standstil since we wanted to see which car was the strongest not which had the better launch control AWD system. I have run 11.88 199km/h 1/4mile and 264.7km/h on 1km with my stock M6! I dont even have the akropovic exhaust yet but will add it soon. I am sorry to the admin and would like to part of this forum If he could unban me I promise never to post any links to any of my racing videos (racing another GTR on sunday btw) and a SLS merc! But I wont post it since he made it clear.

So how about it admin, do you want to ban a fanatic like me who has a history with BMW and have owned over 14 M cars, or are we going to lift the ban on Dreamerm6?

I'm not sure if you read it, but I don't think this was his first race with a GTR. also, do you not think that a man that has a new M6 as ONE of his cars can afford more than one camera to be mounted to his car? Just saying.

The M6 has all the luxury one requires for trips to work and back and can give a GTR a po$s klap if provoked.

In my opinion the GTR is too overrated. :blab:

raise: M6 ftw!!! The GTR is all about standstill acceleration and grip, though bear in mind that a gtr is 6 cyl and M6 is 8 cyl - there's no replacement for displacement :rollsmile:

Do yourself a favour and look at the datalog i did on a GTR in the "OTHER CAR" section.
This car belongs to a completely third body.Give credit where it is due.We would not be on this site if we were not BMW biased,but figures are figures.
As for topspeed this particular GTR has clocked 328km/h on the Garmin GPS on an uphill stretch of road.
When this car was developed it was all about accelleration and grip but even the engineers were blown away when these cars did such tremendous topend.
The standard M cars are governed to 262km/h so if this car does more it is no longer standard.By removing the speed limiter the torque dampeners are reduced and you end up with free kw's.
