So is this an M5 or what? I don't get this at all. Why would you buy this ahead of the M5? For me the M5 looks allot better and it is the original super saloon. This is just too fake and a money making scheme IMO.

Sho! Those picks are big. Yes, the forum forces them smaller, but then they are all pixelated. Why would you now buy the M5 instead this though?? BMW now have two very similar M cars apart from the looks. I don't get it. People will be trading in their recently bought M5's for the M6 and sales of the new M5 will go down. Being a big 4 door was the M5's thing, now there's 2.

And presumably make slightly used m5's available to fanatics for cheap:thumbs::thumbs:

Yes, these pics are hectically big. I must say, this M is fantastic. I bet seeing it in the flesh will be better as on paper you dont notice how low slung the car is.

Also feel this is much better than the "too similar to 5Ser MSport" - M5, it think this will appeal to those who want some exclusivity, as there are so many 5Ser M-Sports on the road, and some may find spending R1Mill plus on a car that looks similar to a MSport a bit silly. The 6 is much more exclusive and folks in that end of the market may welcome the exclusiveness of this. Surely if you spending R1.5mill plus it needs to look special and not sooo common on the road.

Only problem is that everyone will be going for this now in stead of the M5. If it remained a 2 door (like a Coupe is suppose to be) it wouldn't have shared some of the market space with the M5.
