m54 question

Hello

Is there a way to see if an M54b25 motor has been opened before by look around in the engine bay?

I had one bad experience had would like not to repeat it.

I doubt you could really say for certain. What is happening with your car? Are you searching for another engine again? Please give some more details, last I remember is that you sent it to G&C and you were looking for an engine to swap in.
