if it was my car i would probably import a cast iron engine and get it rebuild and balanced similar to what MattQ did with his rebuild...

after you can sell your engine to cut some cost...

@Moranor: That is my intention, selling the components from my old motor will help to offset the cost. However, I dont think I will even be able to approach the level of MattQ's rebulid given my current budget...

i know there was a guy on for forum selling an e36 US M3 engine which is very similar to the M52b28...

rebuild that to make sure everything inside is perfect and it will be a very nice upgrade :rollsmile:
