Hi my m50 325i doesn't want to idle when you first start it, the fuel pump relay clicks as well. But when I rev it completely then it idles and drive like a dream. Please help with any advise. Thanks in advance

Sounds like the fuel pressure valve is your issue.

The one on the fuel rail? One of my friends said I must test it by removing the vacuum line and seeing if it was working better but no luck there

I have tried to wire up the fuel pump relay to earth and to terminal 15. It stopped clicking but still need to rev the engine to get it to drive

How old is your fuel filter? This seems fuel related issue,

I replaced the fuel filter on the last service which was about 3000km ago, but I got it from goldwagen, not original filter. It says MAN on it. Is it possible that it could be the incorrect filter? The performance of the engine is perfect just at start up that the revs jump around and I've tried to pull off like that and the engine just dies. After reving it then its fine. Does it on every start, hot or cold.

I suspect the Mass Airflow Meter, on my other E36 the Mass Airflow Meter was faulty and the car wouldn't idle, I have to accelerate/rev it. You can goggle ' Bmw E36 what does all sensors do', there's a forum that will tell what sensor does what on these car, you can try the stomp test if it works. Best of luck
