So as some of you may or may not know..
The M5 F10 and M6 F13 ECU's have not been cracked since launch.
The tuners are all working off a BMW press file which basically allows them to fiddle with a few basic areas of ECU. thats why you see most tunes stage 1 - 10 running around 700hp max as they cant safely tune beyond that point without full access to ECU.
I hear now that the ECU has been cracked (March 2014) and is in its final stages of tuning by the tuning co. that cracked it. Im sure all other tuners will use this and also have access to unlocked ECU.
I believe stock internals can handle around 1000HP, but lets see..
