M5 2006 E60

We had one traded-in for R185K, 2006 model with 111 000km, but it had an engine change done under M/Plan, I thought about it, but decided no.

Obviously, cheap to afford, but maintenance in the long run is an issue, plus if its a daily runner then a gearbox failure may be around the corner.

If you can find one that is mechanically sound, then why not? They lose value very quickly, so it makes a decent second hand buy.

Luckily I don't drive it everyday. That would stress me too much! What colour was the M5 traded in for R 185,000?

Yeah, in your situation, it would be ideal to own. Congrats man! Its a V10 masterpiece.

Black, think it was a black & white interior, it was a little on the rough side but nothing a little elbow grease wouldn't sort out.

Thanks!

I am still trying to find out what colour it is. All I could find was that it was a special order colour.

Think I deleted my post by mistake.
LOL! A bit of elbow grease and probably about R 100,000!

Why I was asking was my engine was replaced about 25,000 kms ago on motor plan as well as the SMG clutch. I think it was a good thing!
