The current M3 broke the R-million mark with enough optional extras, this one will for sure.

You will have to fork out over a bar for a decent speced M3 now.
I don't see a huge increase on the base (depending on base options included.) I do think the price of option will increase though. I would say about R1.05 -R1,1M for a decent M4

Don't forget the price increase this Sept.

...but 911 turbo performance and luxury

The based price on a F10 M5 before the latest price increase was R1.15mil, so I reckon about R1mil for the M4, R950k for the M3, base price. hasn't the usual trend been to take the top of the line non-M of the series, and add about R200k for the ///M?

My edition model new cost 1 017 000.

I am on the list for the M4 and my dealer said current price plus 5% is what they are hoping for.

Not really...I was offered a brand new E92 M3 DCT with competition pack, carbon roof, fold mirrors, M Dynamic, upgraded sound package and some other extra's @ R890 000.00 this weekend plus I would get a trade assist on the 335i...

Damn, That's like base price . I just got the same(less folding mirrors)+comfort access and the BMW connect options 2 weeks ago for 1,04 less 90K discount. Which dealership did you get this from?

I would take that M3 before someone else grabs it.

I remember the day of the local introduction of M3 in the 90s, in E36 2door config. You paid R210K for a 2door coupe with 210kw. The local journalists, applauded it as the best value for money performance/quality vehicle at the time.....equated to R1000 for each KW of power.

All I got to say is how times have changed and moved on...............

I got to ask a question,

Is an E92 M3 5 times as more fun as the E36 M3, which cost 5 times less?
