Dunno how you live with it day to day tho, seems a bit over the top?

It's a fair bit quieter in Efficient (~)) mode.
Anyone who drives it in this mode probably doesn't know how to activate Sport / Sport Plus mode.

That's only in Sport+ mode. In Normal mode valves are closed and its quiet.

Akrapovic isnt supported / endorsed by motorplan any longer.

Sorry, I didn't see you've already replied before I posted my reply.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a fan of the sound from the M Performance exhaust.
It it A LOT louder, but that doesn't necessarily make it a better sound (to me at least).
The only thing I love about that exhaust is that weird fart/backfire sound it makes when you get off the accelerator.

Interesting, I'm of the opinion that the standard exhaust is loud enough... but that's just me :dunnoanymore:

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys!

Looks like it's definitely a must! I thought it sounded pretty good with the stock exhaust TBH :fencelook:

It does sound quite good, but of course they built the M Perf exhaust for a reason. I think the last I checked it was close to 90k

90k? So how much is the Akrapovic one, 100k? Would it not make more sense to get Akrapovic in this instance?

The full M Performance exhaust is actually an Akrapovic rebranded.
I know my old man paid R120k if I'm not mistaken, back in 2014.

Oh ok, I didn't know this?

So what should one expect to pay for the MPE? Seems like the prices quoted here vary quite vastly... :dunnoanymore:

There are a few different options, that's why.
You can get backbox only, full system after the cat, full system with decat, carbon tailpieces, standard tailpieces etc.
