M3 Remap and Oil pressure

Hi

Can anyone tell me if changing software on a E46 M3 could have any negative effect in the cars oil pressure?

In my opinion it can't, but I just want to be certain...

No is has NO INFLUENCE on oil pressure at all!

What it has (or could have) is influence on engine temperature which again in relation to the viscosity of your engine oil could let the oilpressure drop!

Checking oil and oil level will prevent damage! :idea:

normally its high rpm and G forces that cause problems...

If the car is hot and idle speed is low the oil pressure light may flicker , this is due to the oil being thin in these conditions which will occur with or without any modifications .
