Am I the only one who thinks this new generation of m3 m4 has less differentiation to the ordinary 3 and 4 series Bmw... The previous generation you didn't need to look twice to realise it was an m car

Fair point, but that's purely because the last generation had the coupe front end on versus the regular the 3 series sedan. The e90 was very much the exception to the rule. Over and above that looks pretty much differentiated to me..

LOL, nope silverstone II is an ///M colour. My last e92 M3 was that colour and there are plenty of them in e90 and e92 rolling around SA.

I agree with you bud, BMW needs to stop watering down The M badge. Every second BMW released now includes a M badge before its model number.

Why not have a sport pack available and Save the M badge for the real deal, a 235 is a good enough car to be proud of with having to call it a M235i.:argh:
