I also struggled to find my size in PE. I ended up calling the TWT in Sandton, they had the ones I was looking for. After I told the PE branch this, they miraculously then found some on the system and had them sent down to me. Another way to go would be to maybe contact your local vintage car club, they always seem to have strange (cost effective) ways of bringing odd tyres in that the big tyre franchises are not interesting in.

That's the best option. Phone one of the larger franchise dealers in JHB, but don't tell them where you're from. If they don't have stock, ask them when they can get it - "bigger" stores have more influence over stock. Get the name of the guy you spoke to. Then go to the smaller franchise store, give them the details of the guy you spoke to and instruct them to get them for you at this branch.

Sometimes, people are just too damn lazy to do their work...

Thats what I thought, I was expecting closer to R20k

They are expensive, but that sounds high. For reference, TWT charged me R3270 each for 245/40/18's after discount (10%ish). That was a year ago.
Maybe check on tirerack and work out the difference in dollars to see if their markup is in line with what I paid.

The PS2's seems to have more grip. And the PSS's definitely has more grip.

I did check on there but they don't have PSC or PSS for the rears so found them on other sites. They do have the front as far as I remember. :thumbs:

I believe she has 265 30 19 at the back and 235 30 19 in the front.

+1 on good tyres for this car.

However, I think OEM front tyre size is 235/35/19. Rear is correct. :thumbs:

My 1st choice is the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup+ and my second choice Michelin Pilot Super Sport and my third choice is Michelin Pilot Sport 2. This car deserves a decent set of tyres. :thumbs:

No need for the cup semi slicks if you're not going to track the car regularly.
Alternatives Toyo R888 or Hankook Ventus if you're looking for that sorta tread without the Michelin price tag

The CSL shipped with Michelin Sport Cup tyres, hence mysuggestion of the Sport Cup+ as they are the newer version of the Sport Cup tyres.

Some newer BMW's can be ordered with PSS's, like the M135i, yes.
