M3 Brakes

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my brakes.

I spoke to Leon at Power Brake, and they want 17k for their kit, which includes, disks, pads, calipers.

Do these seem like good value for money? or should i look at something else?

That sounds almost like the price of the std brakes from the stealers. Much better!!

17k is not that bad they quoted me 22k for my car... but there should be plenty of aftermarket stuff for them m3...

Sounds like a bargain. I paid R55k for my Brembo's on my E92.

I'm currently using one of the powerbrake kits on one of my cars and I am quite pleased with it.

However I have not tried other kits so I can't really compare the powerbrake kits to anything aftermarket.

it is probably/definitely just different discs, pads, SS brakelines and fluids, no calipers

thank god for service plans, just had my brakes done.

Just redid my front brakes ala OEM on the M5 and it cost me 6.6k and they are frikken heavinly....

So I would assume the M3 brakes are damm good as well, do you track the car much ?

No I've never tracked this M3, new brakes do feel awesome though!
