M140i rim and tyres

howsit guys injust wanted to find out what are the best rim size and tyre profile for a lowered m140i on h and r springs. Had 19inch rims with run flats not lowered previously. Now after the fitment of the h and r springs the tyres now hit the wheel arch.

You need to run a 30 and 35 profile anything more it's going to touch ..

Hi. My suspension is stock. But if it helps, I've run both 18" and 19" rims with 225/35 and 245/30 tyres.

The above is correct, 35/30 profile for 19s on the F20 and if you got back to 18s then the 40/35 works perfect.
Check my propic, I had 40/35 on 18s with 8j front and 9J rear rims on 225/40/18 & 255/35/18.
The rear had some stretch as well which worked well for cornering and sitting on H&Rs also but if I went with 265 then I think it would have caught in some areas.

So depending on tyre width too, it makes a difference, whats your current tyre set up @woods588739?
