So new cars have been acquired 
I landed up going with the Mini JCW Clubman. It came down requiring a 4 door, small car that would allow a some fun when the roads allowed.
I drove the new M135i, Golf GTI and Audi S3. They all had more/newer tech than the Mini, but the Mini "felt" the quickest and was the most fun to drive and overall just a fun car.
I managed to get my parents old E46 320i auto for my partner. She loves it and feels safe, so its a winner. It's a 2005 model, 100k km, 2.2l 6 pot. Drives well and just feels so solid like a good E46 does. Any idea what a fair price would be for a good condition E46 320i?
