M135i Steering Fault

Hi all, so I got home tonight and as I drive into my driveway I have to turn the steering wheel to full lock. When attempting to make the steering wheel straight again the steering becomes extremely heavy and an error is displayed on the dash. Used the JB4 app to read the codes and the following was displayed:

CDA451 FlexRay message (actual steering torque drive actuator, 49.0.2): missing
CDA452 FlexRay message (if power rack, 49.0.2) missing

Cant drive the car as it requires excessive force to turn.

Has anyone experienced the same?

Does the m135 not use electric steering instead of hydraulic?

EPS failure or the rack itself needs replacement

Had a rack replaced on my previous F30. With these things it is tough to guess.. I suggest getting the car to a reputable place to check it.

Might just be the pump. Get it to a shop to check it out.
